To kick-off the Explorer’s Club World Oceans Week Speaker Series, Oceanic Global curated and moderated a panel around the theme of this year’s UN World Oceans Day, “Gender and the Ocean”, an opportunity to explore the gender dimensions of humankind’s relationship with the oceans.

Thursday, June 6th: “Responsible Tourism”
Oceanic Global curated a “Responsible Tourism” panel during the Explorer’s Club World Oceans Week Speaker Series on the afternoon of Thursday, June 6th. Discussion explored how we can best achieve a new standard of responsible and regenerative practices within the industry. Program Manger, Cassia Patel, presented The Oceanic Standard (TOS) (now rebranded to the Blue Standard).
